Meet Emma!

We rescued Emma in the nick of time. During the freezing winter she was found in a cardboard box in the garage of the alleged "owner" nestled in with her frozen, dead littermates trying to stay warm. They had died from starvation. The mother cat had been hit by a car and the "owner" didn't know what to feed the tiny kittens, so she just left them out there. These same kinds of people have children and I always have to wonder how they fare. We got Emma to the vets for urgent care and eventually pulled her through as you can see.

She was on death's doorstep when we rescued her.

Here she is after a few weeks of love and care.  Getting so much better!

This is Emma today, a happy and healthy little kitty.
